Short Term 12 – New to Netflix
New to Netflix: Short Term 12
Looking for a solid drama to stream tonight? Look no further. Grace and Mason run a group home for teens not placed by the foster care system. These teens are troubled, hurt, angry, and unwilling to be helped, just like most kids but more so. Parenting is hard, but without the advantage of a biological connection it’s almost impossible. Grace slowly builds trust while overcoming her own childhood traumas. Great writing, directing, and acting make this a great little movie. [rating=4]
Rated R for language and brief sexuality.

Just watched this, loved it! It was very intense, not sure I could watch it again. I loved the way it illustrated the overwhelming realness of their trauma and pain but yet still kept a hopeful, lighthearted tone. Also all the characters were unique and very likable.
Good day! I could have sworn I’ve been to this website before but after browsing through some
of the post I realized it’s new to me. Anyways, I’m definitely delighted I found it and
I’ll be book-marking and checking back often!
